Plain-English privacy
Your conversion values stay in your browser
The calculator is designed so that entered durations, decimal values, results, copied tables, and generated CSV files do not need to leave your device.
Calculator data
Single and batch conversions run in page memory. The current product does not store calculator values in cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, a user account, or a server database. Refreshing or closing the page clears the values from the tool.
Copy and download actions are performed locally. The site does not add entered values or results to URLs, analytics events, application logs, or error messages sent to a server.
Aggregate measurement
The production site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page views, referrers, device and country summaries, and web-performance measurements. Cloudflare describes this service as cookie-free and privacy-first. It does not give this site session recordings, heatmaps, keystrokes, or calculator values.
After the first successful conversion in a page view, the browser also makes one best-effort, same-origin request that reports only that a conversion completed, the converter direction, a broad batch-size bucket, and the deployed application version. The event does not contain an input, output, exact row count, error text, referrer, user agent, IP address, fingerprint, persistent visitor identifier, or free-form text.
Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools may also be used to understand search queries, indexing, impressions, and clicks. Advertising trackers, session replay, heatmaps, cross-site profiling, and fingerprinting are not used.
Your control
The calculator still works if measurement requests are blocked or unavailable. You do not need an account, and there is no saved conversion history to delete. Avoid entering information you do not want visible on your own screen or included in a file you choose to download.
Scope and changes
This page describes the production measurement design in effect for Time in Decimal. Any material expansion of the collected fields or addition of a different analytics provider requires a new privacy review and an update to this page.
